  • TV Adverts Louder than the Programmes

I know that this is one of those situations that affects and annoys everyone, and if im perfectly honest – i thought a law had already been passed to ensure this doesn’t happen, but apparently not.

The Committee of Advertising Practice appear to be trying to get that law we all so desperately want, passed. [click]

1.2       This consultation document sets out BCAP’s proposed revision of rule 6.9.  Both the existing rule and BCAP’s proposed rule aim to minimise the annoyance that can be caused to audiences by television advertisements either exceeding an upper sound limit or being generally perceived as too loud.  BCAP’s proposed rule is intended to provide clearer technical guidance to broadcasters to help them achieve the rule’s twin objectives and, thereby, offer better protection to audiences from unduly loud advertisements.

Unfortunatley like all things like this, they’ll find a way round it. They should just write “it is illegal to play adverts louder thant TV programs” instead of all this mumbo jumbo they write instead.

Ill keep me eyes on that site, and see what the outcome is.

  • Madeleine Mccann – Blood DNA tests negative

    Another blow for the search for Madeleine McCann;

Blood found in Algarve ‘not that of Madeleine McCann’

    Thursday, August 16, 2007

Tests have reportedly concluded that blood traces found in the McCann family’s holiday apartment were not those of their missing daughter Madeleine.

Reports this morning say the blood came from a man, probably a guest who hurt himself while staying in the apartment after the four-year-old disappeared.

Meanwhile, Portugal’s police chief is quoted today as saying that he believes Madeleine died on the night she vanished in the Algarve more than three months ago.

Portuguese media reports say the scene of human remains was detected in the McCann’s apartment by by British sniffer dogs.

The McCanns say they still believe their daughter is alive.

Im suspecting they meant “scent” and not “scene” there, and if thats the case then that might be the last chance they have of securing any evidence. Either that or they’ll find some dead body of a randomer under the floor boards.

If that lead turns out to be a pile of shit, i wonder what their next move will be?

  • Madeleine Mccann – The News Aint Good

Well, after a blog post earlier, ive just read that (according to the news) the police are now working on the assumption, that Madeleine McCann, is dead.

“Olegario Sousa, a spokesman for the Policia Judiciaria, said they are now working on the assumption that the four year old is dead.

Mr Sousa’s comments came as Kate and Gerry McCann admitted for the first time that they have discussed returning home to Britain without their daughter. “

Its not good news for the McCann’s, and the rest of the world to be honest. But i bet that if the UK police had been involved since day one, that this conclusion would of been made a lot sooner.

“After exhausting all leads suggesting Madeleine was abducted, police are now working on the theory she suffered an accident or was killed inside the flat.

They have confirmed that the parents are not suspects. Two specialist British sniffer dogs, one with the ability to find small traces of blood and the other a “victim” dog who can detect human remains, were brought in a fortnight ago.”

Why were these dogs not brought in sooner? I wonder if any new/updated laws will be passed after all this, stating that the investigations into serious cases involving british/UK tourists in foreign countries will be handled by, and only by, the British/UK police forces? Because lets be honest, they might be an annoyance at times, but most of the time they are damm good.

The parents have apparently been ruled out as having any involvement in the death of Maddy (if that turns out to be the case – lets hope not) it seems strange that they have been left uninformed of the details of the recent developments with the blood traces etc, maybe the police are not yet ruling anyone out of the investigations, and have jsut said that to quieten the doubters.

I guess as soon as these DNA tests are back, we’ll know if we are any nearer finding little Madeleine McCann.

  • well, well, well.. can i say i told you so?

Since pretty much the start of maddys ordeal, i have sensed that something isn’t quite what it seems. And now even the media and police are starting to warm to that idea.

Madeleine McCann’s parents have called on police to tell them about evidence that reportedly contradicts the belief that their daughter was abducted.

In Portugal, press reports – attributed to police sources – say detectives believe she is dead. Publicly, police are refusing to comment on the reports.

So its not just me that thinks there is something dodgy going on with this situation! A person cannot just disappear, expecially a live one, but it IS a lot easier to get rid of a dead one.

But in recent days, several newspapers have printed articles in which unnamed police sources have suggested Madeleine might have died in the family’s holiday flat in Praia da Luz on 3 May – the night she disappeared.

Again, picture the scene, two MEDICAL professionals have a child die on them due to their bad parenting whilst on holiday, and they use their clever minds to think of a way to get out of it. And due to the nature of the occurence, the fact it was a little girl, the world wouldnt let the search drop. Most people would ring the police, or ambulance, but two medical professionals wouldn’t be able to do that, as not only would it be embarrassing, it would ruin both of their careers. And to some people, that is the most important thing!

Ever wondered why they always look so worried? And not upset?

I had a page on here that had MUCHOS information on the other side of the coin in regards the maddy case, and there were people backing me up with comments. This recent development in the press makes me even more certain that there is a LOT more to this than meets the eye.

Just to reiterate, this is my opinion, not facts, and its based on what i have read and been told. Pass judgement all you like, but make sure your prepared to take it all back if i end up being right.

Thanks OT for the heads up, didnt no about this until i read your blog!
