I have no idea where the last month has gone. All i seem to hear is, “Oh, its friday again.” Its mental! Today we have been chasing a few invoices up, and visiting a few people. Its been ace, we got some fresh air, saw some sights, and had a nice steady day. I have been trying to finish a shop for a client but i have been having issues with the installation.

My laptop is right pissing me off. I cant seem to get the bluetooth dongle to work, which means i cant get my pictures off my phone. Also, i cant get the gallery java uploader to work, which means i cant even publish the images to my site, even if i could get them off!

I have also realised that i have lost the blogging spark. I have been a passionate blogger since 2001/2002? And i usually go through phases of not being interesting enough to blog about – well i think so anyway – so i take a break and resume when im interesting again.

But as of late, i have just not had the time, or the subjects to blog about!

Oh well.. i hope to get back to normal soon 🙂

Well, since my last update… MY LAPTOP MEMORY HAS ARRIVED! To be honest, i think it arrived the night i wrote a blog entry moaning about it. It has made my life STRESS free! Before, i would open PS CS2, and dreamweaver, then try and open firefox and the webcam software – the whole pc would become unstable, and stop responding. I think i was still running on 64mb before, and it was slower than slow! It was stupid!

Anyway, 512mb later, and it runs like its on fire! I can actually use photoshop properly! I have been using it to make plenty of cool new images for the new Maxxd.com, and various clients for MMS. Its awesome. I might buy ANOTHER 512 stick when i have cash, then ill REALLY be rockin and rollin!

I have been so addicted to GTA San Andreas recently, i cannot stay off the game. I just like cheating though, getting lots of money and buying big houses. I have 3 huge houses atm, one with a perfect balcony for shooting my missile launcher off 🙂

When playing a game like GTA, it makes you wonder.. What kind of impact does a game like GTA have on impressionable young kids? Mugging old women, murdering people in cold blood and stealing their money? Although i love playing it, you gotta think about the knock on effects!

Work is going great, me and dave are gettin on fine and the work is slowley coming in. We have bought a new whiteboard, and stationary today – doing things like that really makes it hit home that your self employed and have your own business and stuff. 🙂

Anyway, i have more free pizza to eat..

I am getting seriously pissed off waiting for my memory to come for my laptop. I ordered it WAY before xmas, it came shortly after xmas and turned out to be the WRONG memory. It didnt even fit into the laptop! AND It was 256, not 512. So im having to make do with teh stupidly low amount of RAM i have in it. Argg it makes image editing nearly impossible!

I have sent it back, but i bet they kick up a fuss about it, and try and claim i have swapped it to try and blag them. Its a good idea, but no, i havent. SEND ME MY MEMORY YOU ASS HOLES!

Had a really good day today to be fair, ive been in a much better mood. My head feels clear and ive managed to get as much work done as my pc is allowing me to do. I always seem to be held back by bloody hardware!

I watched fearless last night. Its the last Jet Li film and it is based at the turn of the last century. Its a fantastic film, some AMAZING special effects, and the story line is not a usual one. Mr Li plays Huo Yuan Jia very well, and once again shows the world that they really shouldnt fuck with him. haha

Going now, cos we gotta pick up free pizza. Mmm free 🙂

Today has been a lot better than yesterday. I think i was still very depressed from the weekend, and i had something on my mind that was bugging me. I had a bit of a lie in this morning, and we didnt actually come into the office until later, reason being we had to visit a client to help them with something, then we popped into town to look for a big whiteboard.

Today i have mostly been setting up our webcam portal page, and i have also been sorting the hosting clients out. We should be making a profit with the hosting, so why the bloody hell do we have to pay it sometimes?  My mission is to sort the server out, and make it profitable. it shouldnt be hard now i have a spreadsheet with all the clients in and costings etc.

The webcam portal page kicks ass! This little program uploads a snapshot from the cam to the web every 5 seconds, and the page refreshes every 7. It shows the view from outside our office, and in the day you can see the cars clear as day! 🙂

We’d like to have cams all over mansfield (maybe even the country!), but we’ll have to see what happens. View the cam here : removed (the cam refreshes automatically)

I have a mondo headache, so im gonna get dave to take me home soon. Must get some pain killers on the way home i feel sick its hurting that much!
