Sweating 😆 – I love the heat, but now everyones got AIRCON except me. And my boss came out with this blinder earlyer;

“We’ll put one of them old air con units behind you – it will make you more comfortable, not that it matters. I want it there for that printer you see!”

Oh righty! Fuck you then! Why is it that even though you bust your ass for them they dont see it and still treat you like dirt?! I hope one day i get to start a company of my very own so that i can make a difference – set the standards so to speak. People need to take a leaf out of google’s book! Now they know how to treat their workers!

In other news, it appears that my blog is being read by a fair few people now. It puts me off a bit, cos i hold back and dont say whats truelly on my mind sometimes. Ah fuck it, i wont from now on because to be fair im really not that concerend what people think of me. I mean, if a new visitor read back and digested my life, they would probably think i was raving loonatic anyway. *twitch*

I think more people should blog. Its a great way of getting to know someone, without ever meeting them – but like Fi said, if you have never met the person your reading about the nyou kinda build a mental picture of them? I really dread to think what people see in their heads when they picture me!

Thats me, now get that AWFUL mental picture out your head! Oh, the mental picture was better? Ah shit.. 😆

And as if by magic, that spark that i have lacked to ignite my enthusiasm and passion for my cars has been re lit! I am SO looking forward to thursday, going straight down there with my wire brush and spray paint and im gonna sort out that underneath!

Im gonna clean it too, and the exhaust – its ditched! I think i need to do a list, yes lists help..

1. Wire brush crap/rust from under caddy (there isnt much)
2. Clean underside of caddy
3. Clean exhaust
4. Paint underneath

Right, i need a list of stuff to do after that, when i can get certain people and certian tools there.

1. Cut old exhaust off
2. Weld right hand bracket onto chassis
3. Fit new exhaust
4. De-rust the bit under the tailgate, and fit fiberglass thing
5. buy and fit new petrol tank and pipes
6. Buy and fit new compressor and tank.
7. Buy and fit bigger blocks under back leaf spring
8. Wire air suspension back up
9. Fit remote to air suspension
10. Test everything

Then im sorted for a bit! I need to buy a few things tho – might of already sourced my tank, and daz can make me some new blocks for the rear suspension.

Fuck yeah!

🙂 cool word innit! I have invented it to describe the state i have been in today. Its been so humid in my office that i havent been able to keep myself focused on one thing for more than about 5 minutes. I do something, get a drink, sit there gasping for air, try and remember what i was doing before i got a drink, then start doing something totally different.

Its times like this im glad im not totally self employed. As if i was id blatently of had the day off today – meaning no money! At least i am being paid for being here today, dispite the fact i may not of successfully completed one iota of work. Bossman has to see our point tho, its UNBEARABLE in my part of the office. Weve had a new aircon unit, and i belive they are moving the shit old ones to where i sit. I hope they actuallly do something! 🙂

And im going as soon as the clock strikes 5. I dont care if craig moans, im falling alsleep, im nackered, hot, and sweaty and i have to walk home yet!!

Hot. Hot. Hot. – 3 words that describe what the weathers like! 🙂 Everyone is complaining about how unbearably hot it is, but to be fair its alright. Its just the humidity thats a killer. I think about everyone in our office has got an aircon unit within a few meters of them – except of course me. So while they moan about how hot it is, i get to feel the heat and suffocate as well.

Scott came up to my caddy last night, he took my tank off for me, and the spare wheel well housing, so that i can wire brush the underside of my caddy and paint it. I couldnt belive that a 1989 Vw Caddy Pickup would be in such brilliant condition underneath! Its pretty much rust free bar about 5 small patches. Ill get that sorted, get my ehaust fitted and then fit a new fuel tank, that im gonna have to buy. In fact im gonna make a list of stuff i need so far for caddy.

1. New Fuel Tank < expensive!
2. Rear Sliding Window < expensive!
   
3. Electric Fuel Pump
4. New Piping from tank to engine, and back
5. New Fuel Filter

Then i think im sorted! Well, thats stage one anyway – stage 2,3, and 4 may never happen. I guess it all depends on money. Im finally glad to of got some motivation to do work on the cad, im at a stage now where i can go down and spend a few hours on it – whereas before i was wating for shit to be done.

Nothings stopping me now except this clio. I need to sell it to fund the new parts for cad. I need cad MOT’d n wokring so i can transfer plate across to it, and cad wont be MOT’d and working until i have the new parts – cant get parts till clio is sold, cant sel clio till plate is off it…! Catch 22!
