Text talk is one of the most hated things i come across on forums, and in chatrooms etc. most people hate it, some people swear by it – and some people just dont see what the big fuss is all about!

I guess text talk came from early mobile phones, as it was an easy way to say what you wanted quickly, and keeping it all in one message. But thanks to the advances in technology (t9 dictionaries) and the advances in the operating system functionality, text talk should be a long and forgotten memory.

So why doesnt it just die?

I see more and more people coming onto the websites that i either own or co-run, and writing in TXT TLK. A few years ago, id of let them get away with it. Now i see it as simply being lazy. The worst part about it all is that 9 times out of 10, the TXT TLK word is the same length, or requires the same amount of effort to create – so its not even saving you any time?

I think the problem lies with fashion. In schools and colleges people make chavvy “websites” that pollute the internet with animated gif’s, backgrounds that make your eyes bleed and fucking text talk AlL lYk dIS So tHaT aLl dA tXT is iN dIfRNt SizES aN sHT.

Well this is me teling you now, PACK THE FUCK UP YOU ILLITERATE BASTARDS!

Stop absorbing retarded-ness-ness from twats such as Kwik Fit and Hula Hoops (their slogan – in a hole world of their own – or something equally stupid) And start paying attention at school.

Writing like a mongol is not cool, it makes you look like a fucking twat, and makes my life that little bit harder!

First things first, saturday came round, and we had to lower gemmas car. I lowered the rears, then scott came along and did the fronts. We had it done and lowered for about 3:00pm.

Saturday night me and Gem had a night in, we’ve been having a few recently and they have been great. She gave me a full body massage, including a head massage. Ahh it was great.

Sunday was a great day too, we went to watch the rally!

Then whilst we were waiting we got covered in mud by someone who took the corner wrong!

Scott and Jody discussed the theory of reletivity.

On the way back, Gemma fell asleep! 😛

When i got home i took pics of my new (toy) car!

And then this morning, my laptop charger got fixed (replacement STILL didnt fit) got my money thru from bank (more on that tomorrow) and i got my new inserts for my bumper!

It was a great weekend, i spent time with the most important person in my life, and i had fun watching cars go really fast!

Im sure that everybody has heard the term “smack head” “bag head” “smack rat” or simply “Heroin Addict” but i really dont think that people realise the extent of the heroin problem in their town.

Take mansfield for example, more often that not if your walking through the Bus station, or the town center and someone will come up to you and ask for “20p for their bus fair” or “£1 to use the pay phone”. These people are what we like to call “The scum of the earth”.

The other day dave and myself were walking into our office, and we past a bit of a wall that has obviously been used to hide behind whilst one of the degenerates pinned up. We looked to the floor, and saw a burnt spoon. The burnt spoon is used to heat up the heroin so it turns to a liquid, then they suck it up in the syringe (look top left of picture) and inject it into their veins. Its a disgusting drug, its a drug that is so addictive the user will go out and steal so they can have some more. it destroys the mind, body and soul. And once a smack head, always a smack head. This is why its the odd one out. No other drug (ok, maybe crack) makes you go out and STEAL for your habit.

I think i need to go down and say something to the council, its disgusting, and that picture was taken RIGHT next to a main road. What happens if a child falls over and pricks themself on the needle? What happens is a child pics up the spoon and puts it near their mouth? And the worst part about it is, its the THIRD needle we have seen on teh floor near our work since we moved here!

Its a accident waiting to happen, and nearly 3 days later this particular needle and spoon have STILL not been cleaned up.

Ah fuck it, im ringing the council now.

I know i dont blog much, but i sometimes i see something or witness something that makes me instantly think i want to blog that!

First off i was travelling to work this morning and i saw a billboard poster saying “GET JACK BACK”. Initially i thought it was something to do with the current episode of Lost, but then i realised it was a advert telling people to get sky so they could continue to follow Lost, as Sky1 had been sacked from NTL/Virgin Media.

Now ive spoke to many people about this, and i may of even blogged about it before, but personally i think Sky have played a blinder, and are now rubbing salt into the wounds of Mr Branson. Although, i wont dance and sing and tell the world Sky are better and ‘arder, as Richard Branson aint the sort of person that takes a blow like this lightly. He seems the kind of person that usually gets what he wants, one way or another. So maybe we’ll see Virgin1 start up to rival Sky1, or maybe we’ll see Virgin Media take a lot of programs off Sky like the Simpsons, or Friends or whatever and stick them on one of the channels already owned by Virgin Media.
Who knows? I do know this though – The Sky/Virgin battle has not yet finished. And my Moneys on Richard. 🙂

The second random awesome thing is today i saw my mate who i havent seen in 21 months as he’s been locked down. He has been released on day release and is out for 3 days, every so often. Its basically because he’s been good as gold and not given anyone any shit whilst inside. It was so mental to see him again tho, it was a beautiful day as the sun was shining we all nipped here and there in the car chatting away about the old times, and how things used to be. It was so crazy, it almost seemed like i had gone back in time about 2 years. Mental!

The third item in my list of randomness, is a little story about a tiny little cigarette shop and its grey haired owner. I popped into possibly the smallest fag shop in Mansfield, its next to iceland and the chemist in the front of the Rosemary Centre. I wanted some amber leaf (ooarrr) and it was price marked at £2.50 a pack. He asked for £2.40 – as that was the price he had on his little board thing. And i dont know about you, but that is the first time EVER that i have been sold a pricemarked product cheaper than the pricemark. Respect to you dude for not biting to corporate price increases! POWER TO THE LITTLE GUY! HOO HAAAA!

The final and kinda unexpected thing thats happened to me today, is that i popped into my bank to get some money and sort some charges out that have unlawfully gone out of my bank account, and it seems Lloydstsb have already taken some charges off my account as a sign of good will or some shit, and that something is currently pending on my account – and HOPEFULLY that means i MAY POSSIBLY be getting SOME or ALL of my CHARGES BACK!!!!

If i do, i may have some kind of seizure due to being so overwhelmed.

So all in all, a good day.

Im going home tonight and im going to treat my girlfriend to a nice cooked meal or something. Shes been a busy girl today so i expect she’ll be tired out.

Anyway, i have the maxxd blog to do, and i need to go home at some point 🙂
