I got a call (as usual) from security askin me to cover a shift in notts on saturday 7am to 7pm. Yeah, ok ill do it. One problem though. I was watchin two pairs of trainers i just could not miss!

The pair on the left are adidas supergrips. ive never seen them in that colour. And the pair on the right are adidas superstar underworld’s – part of the 35th anniversary collection. VERY rare, and not made any more, 5000 pairs worldwide!

The last time i relied on someone to bid for me i didnt win, and i couldnt lose these! Someone on my superstar site told me about auction sniper. He said he never loses, all thanks to their bid-5-seconds-before – sneaky type techniques..

So, i entrusted this sniper thing, and put a max bid of £25 on the supergrips, and £80 on the superstars – i really wanted them and expected them to go for loads..

I got home after work, and..well. I still have £10 in my paypal account after paying for them 😀

Well, i think we can safely say summer has started this week! I wasnt in a decent enough state yesterday to make judgment on the weather, but yes, its hot, sticky and sunny! Woo!

So, as its now summer, we are all going to black rock tonight to smoke a few joints on’t queens nose 😀 I love black rock, its cool. I guess the only downside to it is the fond memories of camping there with nic, dave and jenna. I have some photos from then, that show us all happy as campers (lol)  – so i guess the memory will live on.

I didnt realise quite how much my life had changed while i was with nic. I had pretty much forgotten about maxxd.com. I had forgotten how busy my life actually was – and i had just pushed so much stuff to one side. I think thats now reflected in the rate maxxd is picking up again. Since certain things have been delegated to other people, it leave me time to do the things i really need to do. Like sort the new marquee out, buy and sell maxxd stickers, and look at ways of furhter marketing the maxxd name. Which as a whole means that everything is being done, and being done to the highest level possible.
I dont regret the time i spent with nic, she taught me a lot about life- but only becasue she made me grow up a few years. I went from being a youth, to a bloke. I look at things differently, i want different things now and even down to me being a lot tidyer than i was before. So i guess id like to thank her for the time i spent with her. Its a shame i cant tell her that to her face – she would take it the wrong way and probably get offended.

Well, i can now safely say that i have lived. As i will say from now on, that if you havent seen mike skinner put 110% faith in a bunch fo totally random people, and diving into the crowd (stage dive) – you havent lived!!

I have never had such a good night in my whole life. Sway and Professor green were brilliant. Uk hip hop artists make me laugh, their rhyming is so comical.

First up was professor green. Hes some white guy who tbh is fucking good! I added him to myspace, and i read about him on there. Hes your typical london boi, didnt go to school, smoked weed.. eventually started rhyming. He did a cover of “when you wasnt famous” – as he isnt famous yet.. It was ace!

Then the DJ changed, and teh Union Jack bandannas came out. Sway! Sway! Sway! He walked on and the crowd erupted! I didnt realise people would react to him in the way they did. It was phenominal. He did that little derrick track, and both him and prof green kept dropping random beats from various hip hop tracks thru the ages. Green did a wicked remix of hip hop by dead prez.

Then there was an interval, the decks were removed, stage moved round, a big cup of tea was placed (for mike) the they came out! All their music was live, guitars, drums – they rocked the hell out of rock city!

We didnt get too close, as to be fair  would of got crushed. But if i tryed hard enough i could of spat on anyone in the band. 🙂

We then went downstairs to the afterparty, where me tim and shep rocked till the early morn! I felt at hom with the4se people, and that type of music. Hip hop. Its my thing. Non of this fuckin dance shit.

Ok, so i gets a text today. “All sorted for tonight mate, i put olstar plus two on the list! text me when your here!” It was from gez, he had only gone and done what he said he was gonna do! I replied as i didnt know what time it started, or if i was allowed to queue jump being on the guest list. He replied “Hell yeah, none of that queuing business! Ill put 3 afterparty passes on the door for you as well. See you later!”

What a dude!

I have got to rush about like a twat for a while after finish work, but then striaght to the train station!
