Yes, the ilnessess that have been flating about the world latley, has finally caught up with me. I have a bad back, ny neck aches, my nose is blocked, my throat hurts and i cant stop coughing. But apart form the man flu, im super smashin frickin awesome!

I got these bad boys today;

Aint they just the most amazing colourway ever? White/White and a Gum Shell! They are part of the adidas Superstar Skateboarding series.. They have the padded sides, tounge and have double stiching everywhere.. I can safely say i wont be wearing these till the floors are dry and clean! I.e. summer!

I havent bought any sneaks for what seems an eternity! Ok, so my last pair were the superstar halloween editions, again ltd edition and very sexual 🙂

Heres my collection so far;

18 pairs of some of the finest sneakers adidas have ever made. im up to 19 now with these new un’s, wonder if ill make 20 by the end of the year? Hmm

I find that buying sneakers makes me very happy, as if im not buying them, im buying weed, petrol or crap. At least with these i have something to show for my money. Id say my collection os worth over £1000 by now, as som are very limited and go for hundreds on the bay.

I get to see gem again tongiht, we havent seen each other for a few days and im gettin withdrawl symptoms. I need to see her NOW please!

Im gonna go do a bit of work i recon.. Do some tidying till 5pm, then im off to meet a SSDB member and give him some sneakers that were posted with mine.

Hi guys 🙂 I hardly get time to update this any more. Monday’s and tuesdays i always have things to do, and it tends to be 6pm before i can say “Bollocks dave, you dont do it like that” So we go home and then the next day arrives. Wednesdays and thursdays and fridays are a bit quieter, but as the new guy now technicaly owns my pc i have been letting him sit here and do the work he needed to get done. And as i have been working at weekends too, i just havent had the time required to sit here and ramble on about complete shit for half a hour.

But, luckily today is wednesday, and the new guy is doing some other stuff so i have this pc all to myself 🙂

I have really been getting into Lost recently, in fact its all Gem and myself have been watching. The stories are really good, and as soon as one ends, another one begins! We have nearly watched all of season 1, and im getting season 2 and 3 off my mate wiggy as i write this 🙂 It doesnt compare to Prison Break (episode 13 seasion 2 being watched tongiht!) but its deffo one of my favorite programs! 🙂

Going back a few days, back to saturday, and back to what i thought was gonna be my last security shift EVER. The shift went really fast actually, i think its cos i knew gem was at work too, so i wasnt really anxious to leave. About 6pm, it got dark and i had forgotten a torch. Now these building sites really dark, there aint no lights, and there is crap everywhere. So you look round one shit load of bricks, and there is something moving! Ok, so it might just turn out to be a plastic bag stuck to a tree branch, but it was still scary!

I was doing a patrol about 6:30pm, and it was very very dark. As i was walking i got that strange, “i am being followed” kind of feeling. I froze, spun round, couldnt see anyhting. This repeated about 3 times, until i noticed something moving near the fence. it was a fox! And it was FOLLOWING me! it followed me all the way to the end of the site, stopping and looking everytime i stopped. Then i lost him. But low and behold on my way back i saw him follow me again, and he followed me all the way back to the compound where i quickly locked myself in to avoid being mauled by a pack of rabid foxes. Was he the reccy fox? Was he looking for food and was gonna signal his posse? Or was he a lonley unloved unwanted orphan of a fox, who just wanted a friend? No one will ever know. 🙁

I did manage to kind of photograph him, twice! 

Can you see him? You wont be able to actually see a fox, only his eyes! It was really scary when all i saw was the eyes in the photo. Although when my phone flashed i could see quite clearly it was a fox or a small fox like dog 🙂

Anyway, it turns out that that wasnt my last shift, and thor have got a few sites a bit longer. but without going into too much detail, the future doesnt look good for thor. Im not in a position to disclose any further information on the subject, but lets just say dave and myself are getting our own office at exactly the right time. Its almost a sign. Like, as if someone somewhere wanted maxxd to succeed. Im glad someone does, as well as me and dave!

Its all very exciting, and also very expencive. This week i personaly have paid £125 towards hosting and a new licence for the DIR. I dont mind tho cos i know ill get it back as soon as its possible. And it was for things we desperatly needed.

In fact, Djb31st is currently fixing the dir for me as the phpmydir support is ass. Rock on DJB!

I best tidy up here and do one now. I have to go to my mums to see if any of the furnature she has there is suitable for our office, if it is im robbin it. If anyone reading this knows where i can find 2 desks, and 2 chairs for a smallish office at a pretty cheap price – let me know! :)

Another week has flown by. I have spoken to mark and my last official day at mini marquees is the 20th of december. After then its Maxxd all the way! Im very excited about working on something i enjoy and love so much, but there are a few things that are hanging over me that im not exactly jumping for joy over, im not gonna go into detail about them because they are things i have to discuss with him, not the world. 😉
I have been looking at desks for our office, and chairs, and other random bits and bobs – and its not until times like that, that it actually hits you! We are going to be runing our own company, and that is the only income we will have. We will be supporting ourselves, and working for our benifit only.

I guess thats one of the things that winds me up most about working for someone else, i just see me filling someone elses pockets with gold, and mine with bronze. I want the gold now thanks. 🙂

Someone mentioned to me today that i might be diabetic, as i am always tired. But does that mean i wouldnt be allowed to eat chocolate? Or i would have to eat chocolate? Cos i cant live witout gold bars and mars drinks! if it means i cant eat chocolate then it looks like ill have to just plod along. If i get to eat lots more then i might go get my doctor to check me out haha.

I think me and gemma are gonna pop out tonight, and go to the cinema or something. We are getting on so well, shes everything i could want in a partner. I asked myself a question when i was with my last long term girlfriend, and the answer to that question was a definate NO. I asked myself that same question at this stage of my relationship with gemma, and the answer is a yes. And its not even something i have to think about, just yes. 🙂 The question is kinda obvious, to people that are long term readers of my blog.

Anyway its the weekend soon, and i have to work tomorrow, then LSOM on sunday. Im sick of not having weekends, but from now on im probably not gonna have many of them. Unless me and dave jsut put the hours in during the week instead. Either way the future is bright. The future is maxxd.

I just wish our members could see that dave and myself are doing this for their benifits as well. I guess we’ll of ruffled a few feathers, and might lose a few members, but they need to take the stick out their asses and let me and dave do what we want to a website that we own, pay for and run. The site would be nothing without the memebrs, but it would be a whole lot less without us two. If any of you are reading this, just let us do what we got to do, alright? Stop with the mardyness, and get on with your lives. Maxxd will always be here and if we got anything to do wtih it wil just get bettter and better from now on.

Ah well, i guess you cant please everyone.

haha.. i havent blogged in ages, so im gonna make this one as full as possible. My head has been a right shed as of late, ive had so many things on my mind, so many things to sort out and so many things to arrange its all been a bit too much. I guess this is what self employed life is like, constanly stressing about making ends meet, and worrying if im gonna afford food to eat (i didnt make that rhyme on purpous 😛 honest..) but to be honest its a lot more satisfying than just sitting here wasitng my life.

I thought last weekend was gonna be my last security shifts, but i have to work again this weekend. The site i was at last weekend was in notts, and there was supposed to be some mad open day on the sunday so i prepared for that and sat in my car near the gate most of the day – whereas usually i sit in the canteen watching films, and doing my patrols every hour. I still watched some films, but in segments so i could still do my actual job in case i was checked on.

Im at bleinheim this weekend but only for the saturday. Its LSOM on sunday and we are raising money for charity (nch) so i need to be there about half 5ish to make sure everyhting is set up right.

im glad that part of my life is drawing to a close (security) as its just not suited to me any more. I cant sit there for 12 horus at a time when i know there is things i need to do. I see it as a waste of my life 12 hours at a time. 1 more to go tho, hopefully!

Me and dave seem to be doing ok, things are progressing quite well, and the not too distant future – although it seems riddled with obstacles and set backs – looks bright. Just a few things to sort then there is no stopping us. I just wish we had the support of all of the maxxd members.

From time to time, and suprisingly only when we look to be making money, we get the impression of tension on the forums. Certain members/staff seem to snap, and post messages that are almost trying to spark an argument. I dont know why they just cant let us do what we need to do to continue to provide them WITH A FREEE FUCKING SITE TO USE FOREVER AND EVER. I mean, its not as if me or dave EVER get thanked for putting the site there, for paying month after month for the benifit of others, and dedicating our lives to something we have only JUST started benifiting from. I can see why so many sites come and go, cos it really disheartens you when all you get is shit from people who are supposed to be your friends.

The members on my superstar site regulary thank me for puttin the site there, and proving a nice place for them to chat and share their common interest, is there something different with car modders that means they are incapable of saying thank you?
