So yeah, that photo wasnt madeleine, but the focus has been lifted from the mccans in regards WHODUNNIT, has’nt it?

If your a visitor to my blog, you’ll notice that there has been a significant amount of downtime. This is due to GoDaddy being a bunch of arseholes. I have two dedicated servers with them now, whereas before i had one, and one shared hosting package for all the maxxd sites and this blog etc. It was a dream hosting account, it never went wrong, and there were only one or two annoyances, and they were all the type you can live with!

It wasnt until a couple of fridays ago, when we started to get 503 Errors, saying that the service was unavailable. It was a strange error, as it looked like the server was being maxxd out. But it wasnt, as we had SHIT loads of recources for it!!

So, i started digging about the internet, and contacting their technical support. I eventually found out that it was due to the amount of concurrent connections at any one time! Apparently on the middle choice of Shared Hosting from GoDaddy, the MAX allowed concurrent connections at any one time, was 100. And we had all of a sudden started maxxing it out?! O….k!

So i asked the person i was speaking to at the time what would be the best way to sort it out. They told me upgrading to the top of the range shared hosting package would give me 50% more concurrent connections, and that the sites should run OK with that.

Tried it, paid for the update, and still got the errors. Now, im not being funny, but in my personal opinion, this should of been stated when i signed up for the account. It clearly states that i can host “Unlimited Websites” on a shared hosting account, well thats a lie, isnt it godaddy. Cos too many sites = too many connections which in turn = DOWNTIME. The shared hosting packages are not suitable for anyone who is expecting a fair amount of hits to their site, in fact, they aint suitable for anyone.

So, after much arguments, and about 3 different customer service people, i was passed on to a chap who did help me out. He registered and paid for a VDS from godaddy for me (he works there btw haha) as a way of saying sorry for the bad advice. He then liased with me a bit in regards what else i could get free for them fucking up. Along the way, i got an email saying i had been billed for the rent of my shared hosting package, that i was incorrectly advised to upgrade to. I emailed him, and asked if he could rfund that cash too. He replied and said, yeah sure.

The next thing i no, i have no blog, no picture site, no maxxdirectory… I paniced..

He thought what i meant was “Refund and close” the account.I was FUMING. Not only had a twat sold me “what was on the shelf” instead of what hosting account i needed, another TWAT from godaddy had deleted my entire hosting account! EVERYTHING!

I have had to spend THREE days talking to them, teling them to hurry up, recreting DB’s so they can fill them up, and generally fuckign about, and NONE of it was my fault. I was VERY angry, but now my blog is back up im OK. In payment for such a fuckup, he[s paid the nxt month on my other server, and im gonna try and get him to do me discounted memory upgrades too.

So in conclusion, be careful how you speak to Americans, they presume too much, and don’t really understand English. And if the hosting package you look to be buying seems too good to be true… it probably is!

No one like to read about children getting treated inappropriately, stories of internet chat rooms being playgrounds for fat 57 year old men who sit and slime their way into the trust zone of many 13 year old girls all over the world.

Well, thse sick pencil dicked wierdo’s need to watch out, as there are people out there that WILL catch you, and they pass information on to the police who take these matters VERY seriously!

www.CatchAPerv.com was brought to my attention by my mum who signed her first search warrent the other day allowing police to enter a mans house and take his computer. He had been caught by the guys at catchaperv, and had his detailed forwared on to the metropolitan police, who had in turn passed it on to his local police (sutton-in-ashfield) being the perfectionist she is, my mother did not tell\me WHO it was, but that he was some pedo that had been trapped and he lived in sutton in ashfield.

I just cannot think if a more worthwhile cause than entrapping these fucking losers and grassing them in tot he feds. If you guys read this, then YOU ARE THE BOYS!! The world needs more people like you – and if you need any help with your quest to catch these fuckers, then holla at me!

My blog title states the good and the bad, and the bad comes in the form of a website i see cropping up at the top of gmail page ALL the time.

www.iwanttobuymydadaferrari.com is a site that is apparently set up by heidi, who is a 6 year old little girl that would like to buy her dad a ferarri after he commented on one in the street.

The website states that by selling her pictures to people all over the world, she aims to raise enough cash to buy her dad a ferarri.

Now, im no detective, nor am i a child anaylist/psycologist but surely a 6 year old girl would not be able to make a website of that quality (even though its pretty crap) find web hosting, upload it and spell and punctuate things to such a high level as that website displays.

Also, its kind of funny how they have chose comic sans as the font used on the site, not only is this a pretty uncommon font to use (i.e. not default in most web development programs DW, FP etc..) but its also a fairly similar typeface that a young child would produce with their own handwriting. And the fact that she seems to have a google adwords account, and is able to set up pop3 email addresses, all suggests that this website is in fact not set up by heidi, and is probably run by her father who is exploiting the fact she is a little girl, to get something that his greedy self wants.

This is child exploitation on a digital level, but no level of child exploitation is acceptable, especially when it involves some scrote trying to get a high end supercar , for free.

Save up and buy one like the rest of the overpaid people, you fucking loser.

I have got a phone line in my house, but its never been activated. So me and dave have deided that our office has run its course, and that we will be better off working from home. So, i have decided to get the phone lines activated, and internet installed in my house.

I first tried to ring BT and arrange for this to happen, last week. I was on the phone twice, both times in a queue, and neither times could i get through. Dave managed to get through by dialing 150 from our BT line in the office, and passed the phone to me.

At the time, their systems were down, so he took my details and told me that id be contacted once the order had been put through, and that he’d sort it. I tried to call back earlyer on today, and was on hold for 30 minutes, i got cut off. I rang again, in queues for 45 minues, and got cut off.

Now by this stage my blood had reached boiling point, and the urge to smash ones phone was growing stronger, and stronger. I dialled the number again, and spoke to some clown who told me he would sit on hold with me until i spoke to someone. And sure enough, he did, and after another 30 minutes of queueing, spoke to someone who could help me.

He told me that someone had been booked to visit my house on the 27th, between 1 and  6 when was i going to be told this? Was this going to beamed to my brain by some kind of subsonic radar gun?

And to top it all off, i had just been transferred to some other department, to discuss the costs involved with setting up a landline, and after another 50 mins of being on hold, i hung up.

So roughly 300 minutes on the phone, and all i know is that “someone” is coming to my house between 1 and 6 on the 27th. I dont no what they are coming for, i dont no who they are, and i still do not know how much this is going to cost me.

What i do know, is that BT are a fucking bunch of pricks and should not be allowed to own so much of this countries telephone infrastructure.

in conclusion, on the 27th, when someone visits my house to do something, im going to tell them to switch the line on, and then fuck off. Im not paying them a cent, they can give ME money as i have probably been charged a shit load from when i didnt have the alternative number for BT.
