Landlord Visit.. Oh dear..
As many of you know, i have lived in this House since september 11th 2006. And my landlord has been up once, and didn’t come in that time. My mum rang me yesterday and pre-warned me that he was coming up so i was to make sure the House was tidy and free of dog stuff.
It hadn’t actually occurred to me, that the dude who owns the house may object to us having a dog, we have been so caught up in actually getting the house ready for one we didn’t stop to think!
Anyway, i gets home last night after driving VERY slow the whole way back, hoping id miss him. I pulled into my drive and he turned up. Ahh shit. I hate this kinda thing..
I went to unlock the door, and gem ran in and hid the dog bed and stuff. They both came in and sat down and started talking to us about our house rent and shit.
As it turns out, i didn’t need to worry as he was really sound with us, even though i owe him £700! He doesn’t mind if we have a dog, and doenst mind if we paint the walls and shit. I guess its saving him a job if/when we eventually move out. he mentioned he will probably want to sell the house in about 3 years, and that if i was in a position to buy it he would offer it me first.
But he basically said all was good, we aint got nothing to worry about. AND we can have a dog!
WOOOOOO!
He did put the rent up, but gem and myself anticipated this and re-budgeted about a week ago including the rent increase. So its all good basically!
In other news, im watching the latest EP of season 3 of prison break tonight, thanks to my man woggo. Me and him are by far the undisputed PB kings!

Weird looking red sky over mansfield, Notts on Friday evening. The weather has really gone weird recently. Its like the seasons have caught up with themselves, and it is now actually winter.
This potato was alive. It spoke and everything. He said he name was jeramy, and he thanked us for removing him from the bag he was in. He complained of chest pains, and tat he was finding it hard to breathe. We chopped the shit out of him, and made him into mash potato, just like his brothers and sisters.. Muhahaha!
Jazmine played over at our house on saturday night, shes bigger than gem, she is massive! But she is the nicest dog ever. Just a bit lazy!

WHM – There was a problem creating the email account.
One of the chaps that hosts his files with us, encountered a strange problem with his email. First off, two email account he had created in cpanel had dissapeared. He could connect to them in outlook, but no mail could be sent to them. He also described how he could not create any mail accounts either.
He mentioned an error, and upon closer inspection i too experienced the error.

There was a problem creating the email account.
Permission denied: /home/*insertusername*/etc/something passwd passwdI tried creating mail accounts on one of our websites on that server, and they worked fine. So the problem was apparently only with his account.
I did a few google searches, and nothing really came up. I tweaked what i was searching for and stumbled upon a forum that shed some light on my situation. A chap on there spoke of this problem and someone told him the following fix;
Ask tech support to go into home directory of the account by logging into server as root and fire command
chown username.mail etc -R
It will fix the issue.I tried it with andys account, and bingo. Another example of how a techies best friend really is the internet.
