  • Spartacus – Blood and Sand

Wholly frickin’ shit, batman! – When Adam told me about a new series called Spartacus, and how it was a cross between Uber Violence, and Uber Porn – he instantly had my attention 🙂

He gave me the first series, and after a week or so i started watching it – and couldn’t stop! It was everything he had described, and more! My only gripe with it is the slight cheesyness in certain parts, and sometimes their language is hard to understand as its all supposedly a true representation of ancient Greece/Rome.

The violence and blood is very “animated” giving is a kinda comic book style edge – very over exaggerated in parts, but VERY cool none the less. If someone’s throat gets cut, you SEE it being cut and blood pouring everywhere! The sex scenes are very graphic for a TV show but are done in a way whereby you see no really dodgy stuff – but extremely dodgy stuff is suggested in every sex scene in the first series!

We watched the last episode last night -and it was an AMAZING end to the first series of a program i will most definitely be watching more of!

Just need to wait for the Second season (Season 2) of Spartacus Blood and Sand to be made so we can carry on enjoying it! I wonder if it will ever come to UK TV? As i feel it may be a bit much for the British viewers 😛

  • I haven’t actually blogged for ages

It seems like a hell of a long time ago that i actually wrote a blog post that wasn’t aimed or themed around the marketing of one of our websites, or one of our customers. I wouldn’t really count the lyrics stuff as blogging either – as that’s pure search engine catnip, and all those are done as tests to see how much i can own google.

Things are going great with work – we’re going from strength to strength and our team is probably going to need to grow again real soon! It would be nice to get someone in who is more techie than both Adam and Myself, or maybe just a hardcore coder who can do ninja php and asp stuff – that WOULD be cool!

But anyway, we are ticking along nicely doing the web work, online shops, and search engine domination work for our awesome collection of customers.

In fact – things are moving forward so well now, Dave and myself have both been looking at potentially buying a business. Its something that would run totally independently from work, and in fact not require much involvement from us at all apart from us developing a website for us (but that ain’t gonna be costly is it 🙂 )

Its something Gemma and I have spoke about too – as running a business that’s already off the ground is something she can do, but starting something from scratch again is just something neither of us could afford, yet.

I suppose when work is paying a lot more, Gemma and myself could spend some time planning a little business for her – but for the time being buying a pre-made business looks like maybe the best option.

Aside from that nothing has really changed! Im still driving my Caddy, we’re still living in the same house (although now we have cool new shit like a new TV etc) and life is just ticking along normally!

I think I’m gonna go back to my old way of blogging a bit more – its therapeutic 🙂

    TTFN bitches.

  • Carnfield Hall is gonna be on the Telly!

We were approached by James Cartland when he needed a website to advertise his 15th Century country house called Carnfield Hall. Mr Cartland was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, and we were pretty pleased with the overall look and feel of the site too.

The content is now looked after by their events company – so unfortunately we don’t get to deal with Mr Cartland much any more – but we did get a call the other day stating he was appearing on Channel 4’s Country House Rescue on the 18th of March 2010. We’re definitely going to hit record and save that! Once we get a copy we’ll post it online for sure!

    Go Carnfield Hall!

  • District 9 Soundboard D9 Sounds – Fookin Prawns!!

Adam has been checking FookingPrawns.net for ages to see if the soundboard would be put back up. It was, we robbed it.

If you haven’t seen the film already – you should! It makes a refreshing change from the usual shite that comes out.. Its not based in the USA.. It contains not one single known actor.. But its a blindin’ movie, highly recommended!

This film is so good – and the main guy is a total LEGEND!
