  • A real blog update, for once πŸ™‚

I have updated my blog loads recently, but none of it has been about me! πŸ˜† I have been very interested in this madeleine mccann case, as i said from the outset something wasnt right, now thats what the media is saying i have changed my tune. I never like to agree with the masses haha.

In other news, gemma has officially moved into my house. I now live with my girlfriend! Its a good feeling to be honest, we had pretty much been living together anyway, but now its official. SO far so good as well, it has come just as my work has leveled out and everythign seems to be falling into place quite nicely.

As anyone that knows me, knows i have really been struggeling with money and stuff this year, well, you’ll be pleased to know that aside from my loan, im SOUND. My loan on the other hand could be an issue. I have to visit my bank next week to sort it out. Wish me luck!

Maxxd is plodding along too. The forums are slacking off a bit, but i that wont matter once the new membership is put into place – roll on october the 1st!

Wardo and laura are still not in their new house yet, im not as concerned as i was about him moving out, as gem is there with me now, but i hope they still keep me in the loop, i have to keep asking HIM if anything has progressed with it, whereas it should be him telling me. Ah well,  no rush really.

Gonna have a  weekend off “cars” this weekend, thats all ive been doin these last few months!

    Peace out!

  • Another view of the maddy case

I found this article on the sky news site, and i feel that its very interesting and could throw this case in totally the other direction!

Portuguese detectives have been urged to ditch their case against Gerry and Kate McCann and re-open the investigation into a girl who disappeared in similar circumstances to Madeleine.

    The article go’s on to say that there are so many similarities between the Madeleine case, and the case of Joana Cipriano back in 2004. Crime expert Mark Williams-Thomas who has made this suggestion states;

“What I have difficulty in understanding is they would have killed her and stored her body for at least 25 days and left no evidence.

“At the very least the body would have started to decompose, especially in a hot country. And there was a huge risk of someone finding that body.”

Joana Cipriano vanished from a village just seven miles from Praia da Luz, where Madeleine disappeared. And her body was never found either, Yet Joana’s mother and uncle were jailed for her murder. Now, five police officers have now been accused of forcing false confessions out of them.

Mr Williams-Thomas believes that because of the huge doubts over the convictions, whoever abducted Joana is more than likely to be behind Madeleine’s disappearance. He said he could not understand why the police are pursuing their “ludicrous” investigation into the McCanns, when such a strong line of inquiry remains open.

He added: “There’s not a single case in the UK where two children who are unknown to each other have been abducted or disappeared within a period of four years in a seven-mile radius.

“On that basis it has to be a serious line of inquiry to eliminate it as a huge coincidence”.

“Portugal is a small country with very, very few abductions so two young girls vanishing out of thin air with their bodies never being recovered is something that needs to be investigated.”

Joana vanished on September 12, 2004, after setting off from home in the village of Figueira to collect groceries. She never returned. Like Madeleine McCann’s case, the police investigation got off to a bad start. They failed to seal off the house where she was last seen. Joana’s mother Leonor and her brother Joao were jailed for 16 years for her murder, But they claim they were set up and police have been named as suspects in their “torture”.

Cipriano alleges police beat her to make her confess. A photograph of her heavily-bruised face was published in Portuguese newspapers. She says the interrogation took place without her lawyer present and without the knowledge of the public prosecutor.

Police claimed Joana discovered Cipriano and her brother having sex when she returned with the groceries. They said the pair were afraid Joana would tell what she saw and killed her. Mr Williams-Thomas says because of the doubt over the safety of the convictions, the case should be re-opened.

But to compound the Madeleine investigation further, a senior detective in the hunt is one of the five officers alleged to have extracted the confessions. Goncalo Amaral, who is number three in the Madeleine inquiry, and his officers have been accused of torture, omission of evidence and falsification of documents.

Mr Williams-Thomas said: “This casts huge doubt in my mind about the integrity of the investigating officer. “Even if we work on the basis that he is innocent, given this allegation against him, he shouldn’t have anything to do with the Madeleine investigation.”

He stressed: “There are so many similarities between the cases it has to be eliminated.

“Therefore to consider solely Kate and Gerry McCann as suspects rather than considering all the options is ludicrous.”

The former detective also heavily criticised the Portuguese police inquiry into Madeleine’s disappearance.

Commenting on their emergency application to seize Gerry McCann’s laptop computer and reportedly even Madeleine’s favourite toy Cuddle Cat, he said: “I think it’s amazing that they haven’t already seized them.

“This is the whole problem with the case. They are treating Kate and Gerry McCann as suspects but aren’t dealing with them as suspects.

“Why didn’t they do that when she went missing? They are back-tracking.

“They are trying to recover the situation, forensically and evidentally, they lost at the first opportunity.”

Another crime expert believes even if the police do charge the McCanns they will struggle to convict them – because Madeleine’s body is still missing and there is no evidence that has been made public to suggest she is even dead.

Desmond Thomas, a former deputy head of Hampshire CID who is now a forensic management consultant, says he does not believe anyone will be found guilty unless a body or weapon is discovered.

He said: “I think the Portuguese police are struggling. Of course, we cannot be sure about exactly what is in the dossier they have prepared.

“But from what we know this far, if I was bringing the charges, I would be nervous about it being successful.

“The only way I can see anyone being successfully charged is if the body is found and they can link it clearly to them.”

This may be some solace to the McCanns, but then Portuguese courts may have a different conviction rate to UK courts.

After all, detectives managed to “solve” Joana’s murder, and there was no body or weapon found.

Well…. Thats certainly food for thought..

  • Madeleine McCann – Case Update – Murdered?

Well, are’nt these further developments on the maddy case interesting!

I dont mean to sound like a ass, but GOD DAMM i knew something dodgy was going off. I know nothing has been confirmed, but surely claims like this wouldnt be being made if she wasnt really a suspect!

In a shocking twist, the British parents who have run an international campaign to find their missing toddler were declared suspects in the case Friday, their lawyer said, after traces of blood were found in their rental car.

I just cant belive that its actually happening, ithink many people like myself have thought this for a while to be hoenst, but many people have been too scared to speak outright due to not wanting to be labled unkind or whatever.

Anyway, im gonna wait and see how this pan’s out – before making any more presumptions.

Well, apart from i strongly belive her body will be found quite near where she went misssing.. In a shallow grave more than likley.

    Poor madeleine. πŸ™

  • Leammings, Spa’s and Trax 2007

It feels only about a month ago, i was looking forward to the 2007 modified car show season, and now that season is over! trax, is traditionaly the last show of the year – and is always one of the best.

For some reason, the 07 season show-goers have been seriously lacking in numbers, not just from MAXXD, but from every club going. A few of the clubs have shut down this year, one being CruiseLeics.com. For someone like myself, its a very sad thing to see as i have been a part of this scene for the last 5 years – and seeing so many great cruises, shows, and amazing times – its horrible to think that in a few more years time, if the trends continue, that this scene will nearly disappear altogether!

But less of the future, lets talk about the final show of the year! It started with a very early start on the friday, 8:00am roughly – and just packed the final things we needed for the show (as we had packed most of the stuff the day before)

We headed off down the M1, to trowel services as that is where the small convoy that was leaving on the friday moring was going from. There was only 3 cars in this morning convoy, Me & Gemma, Scott & HSB, Wardo & Laura and Mak. We left about 9:15am off down the M1 at a nice steady 60-70mph.

The journey went fine, until scott decided to drive straight past the junction we needed, and down some random roads, only to stop down some back country lane and shrug his shoulders to wardo in a kind of “i dont know where the fuck im going” kinda way. We had come off at J15 instead of J15a, so back to the motorway and back down to J15a then the route became familur and we carried on the way we needed to go. Just off the last roundabout, and we were behind scott (he was leading) when he came off the inside lane of a roundabout, and cut a lorry up.. Obviously the lorry didnt get time to stop or swerve in time, so CRUNCH. He hit the back of scotts car and they both stopped just after the roundabout.

It was so crazy, as me and gem kind of watched it happen, but a bad move by scott, and a fast paced undertaking lorry driver = £250 worth of damage, and a 15 minute delay to our arrival at whittlebury hall.

Anyway, after this little incident we set back off and shortly arrived at the campsite, sun out, empty campsite (apart from duane and them lot who ALWAYS arrive before us) we broke into the maxxd campsite.. We had arrived!

As usual, we set up sat back and started enjoying the weekend. But the lack of numbers meant the show was off to a slow start. The first night in my opinion was the best, random trips around the hotel grounds, golf course, nearby woods and around the fairly empty camp site. Last year on the Friday night the camp site was swarming, this year it was empty!

I hit the sack about 11:30pm, as i was really tired, and fancied a kip. I didnt wake up till about 11am and had a brilliant sleep even though i had slept on a mole hill or something. I got up and did the usual wake and bake routene i did every morning, at every show. Then we minced around for the rest of the day till the evening, and we all had a early night on the saturday, as we had to be up VERY early for the show.

Sunday morning, sunshine, and a trip round the back of silverstone into trax show via the back door πŸ˜‰ Dave had managed to obtain 2 tickets for us, so me and gem could get access to the show and see what trax 07 had to offer. We managed to blag our way to the stand as we didnt have a stand pass – i just kept telling people i had stuff i needed to take to the stand.. Haha, works every time!

We got there, cleaned the polo and wandered around the show. Now, im going to speak my mind, as this is my blog, and my opinions. I was walking down past the poxhall stands.. And for a minute, i thought i was browsing the new car range at my local VX dealership. There was a row of nearly totally standard vauxhall astra’s . New ones too, not even standard retro ones.. NEW astras…?

I noticed FAR too many nearly standard cars! I know gems car isnt the most modded, but for fucks sake – i went to see modified cars, not cars that some fucker had gone and bought that day.

I really think the shows need to rethink who they let in or something, or its gonna tunr from uber ace modified cars shows held at bangin’ locations all over the UK, to boring new car shows that top gear host at the NEC.. BORING BORING BORING!!!!

Newth mentioned that when the club is properly formed, that we’ll have to start being more hard on people, and basically saying NO if their car isnt stand worthy. We are going to modified car shows, not asda car parks.

Anyway, to summarise, the show was good. But not good enough. The camping was good, but again, not good enough. Roll on next year for some planned entertainment and some awesome times!

We left the show fairly early as we had to drive back to mansfield, then up to warwick as gemma had some training to do on monday and tuesday. We arrived at the hotel, filled the bathroom with hot water and bubbles (yes the whole bathroom) and then had a early night in a king size bed with 6 pillows and the biggest duvet you have ever seen!

Today, i have mostly been doing a few bits and bobs on the computer, and fetching gem from her training. I havent really been able to get back into the swing of things r.e. work  as it seems that ive been away from the office for weeks!

We visited the spa tonight, in between warwick and leamington, and saw lots of people who we could only describe as leammings πŸ˜† wierd people who look and sound wierd and live in a place called leamington spa. The spa was awesome, sauna, jaccuzi, swimming pool.. it was very relaxing!

Im off to my king size bed now, as there is a sleeping gemma awaiting me to cuddle up to.

    Peace out homies,
