    I do think sometimes, some of these scammy spammers do have half a braincell – or they just get super lucky. I got this the other day;

Sincerely,

    And I am a google workspace user, so that seemed kinda relevant (There are fairly simple ways of finding this out so that I can be targeted, but the fact they did that [or may have done that] is impressive.

    The sender address and reply-to are laughably fake though;

    Unless Google are now recieving reply emails at an address registered with a German rivals email service. I think not.

    The button and all the links go here;

    hXXps://voluntarism395.solviase.de/970testes/$info@dijitul.co.uk

    This isn’t a link Google would use – I highlighted the domain in Bold and that should be google.com or googleservices.com or something like that.

    I used an isolated browser and machine to open the link, Nord blocked it but I bypassed that and it took me to a page that was “Loading” but nothing happened. Either it was trying to steal stuff in the background or install malware or something or it is now broken as its been reported.

    These Google credential scams are getting more and more common now, so be aware and if you are unsure about anything at all contact me by commenting or email scams@0lly.uk.

    Stay safe peeps.

  • SecuroWeb Invoice SCAM – Nash Digital Ltd’s Latest Disguise – Pt 3

    Well, well, well. If it isn’t our old friends over at Nash Digital Ltd, up to their old tricks – but under a new name. Did you receive a SecuroWeb Invoice? No idea who they are? Read on!

    Securoweb invoice SCAM email

    My blog continues to attract comments from people who are recieving invoices for things they didnt use or want or need and for some reason the company name for payments always seems to be Nash Digital Ltd?

    What Is the SecuroWeb Invoice Scam?

    Essentially, much like the other blog posts explained, this is just some chancers sending out emails to businesses, with invoices attached. They claim they host the businesses website or emails or whatever and try to get them to pay for hosting.

    What’s the catch?

    They dont host any of these businesses websites or emails, and in most cases the businesses recieving these fake invoices have never even heard of SecuroWeb.

    How does the SecuroWeb Invoice scam work?

    The scammers are hoping for every 100 emails they send, they hope that a few of the people they contact aren’t quite sure who hosts their website and just pays the invoice. I have worked with small businesses for 20+ years and I KNOW this scam will work. I have encountered many, many business owners that havent got a clue where their domains are, or their hosting, and just pay those kind bills when they arrive due to fear of having things cut off.

    Securoweb Invoice Scam!
    Would you look at that… Same address as in the fake invoice my client got, and NASH DIGITAL LTD in the payment info. Thank you to my website commenter for sending this in.

    What to do if you are unsure?

    If you are unsure what to do about an invoice you received for hosting or other digital services, contact the person that built your website/app/marketing campaign/whatever for you, or who has helped you with it in the past. They should have notes or records of where things are and who you should be paying. If you no longer have access to that person or they are not getting back to you, forward the email to me (scams@0lly.uk) and I will tell you if its fake or not.

    Other things to check are the usual red flags, does their website look legit etc etc. In this case, Securoweb .co .uk isnt even a developed website.

    The Nash Digital Ltd Boys, Ben Nash and Jack Nash are trying super hard at the moment to scam people it seems! First Easy Digital Solutions, Now SecuroWeb… I wonder if they will use Webaway Ltd as they own that too. Although its probably easier for them to use fake throwaway trading names and then just keep the legit entities for the fake billing aspect of it all.

    SecuroWeb Invoice Scam & Web Hosting Scam FAQS

    How can I check where my website is hosted?

    You can use services like Whois to check where your nameservers are pointing, this gives you a general idea. Contact the person that built your website though as they should be able to tell you.

    I got an email for hosting but I dont recognise the company name?

    It could be a scam. Companies like Nash Digital Ltd send out fake emails and invoices pretending to host peoples websites such as the one outlined in this post – the Securoweb Invoice Scam.

    Who are Nash Digital Ltd t/a SecuroWeb

    Nash Digital Ltd who trade under various names such as Easy Digital Solutions, Webaway and Securoweb is a UK Limited Company owned by Ben Nash and Jack Ernest Nash and they claim to provide websites and hosting but seem to only send out fake invoices with the hope people pay them by mistake.

    Nash Digital Ltd who trade under various names such as Easy Digital Solutions, Webaway and Securoweb is owned by Ben Nash and Jack Nash

    EDIT: Found another image of a FAKE invoice from Nash Digital Ltd/ Webaway;

    Nash Digital Ltd under the name Webaway Ltd - another fake invoice found via a 5 min search!
  • OMG! Information about Potential Jury Service SCAM

    I was legit devvo when I got this Jury Service SCAM email, as I thought for a TINY second when I saw the snippet that the time had come and I was gonna be in a Jury… but noooo

    Jury Service SCAM

    Probably the worst scam email I’ve seen, no effort for this part which is strange as the scam does get a bit more sophisticated as it plays out.

    What is the Jury Service Scam Email?

    Its pretty obvious to be honest, first of all no one is emailing me something like this from a gmail account;

    Amelia Martin <ameliamartin707@gmail.com>

Kind regards,

    Second of all if this was real why would they send me to a random Adobe file with a highly condential (erm, what?) document;

    The link went here;

    hXXps://gfrg.zafmvuvfjhyu.sa.com/cllascio.php?342d363837343734373037333361326632663730363537323636366637323664363136653633363532653733363836393666363437323631363936363732363936663265363936653265366536353734326632313463353834633664366534343732363633313638353037353434373132662d?

    Which doesnt look legit to me, do you think that is a legit URL the court would use?

    Nord blocked it;

    But I like to live life on the edge, so I ventured further;

    Annnnd it took me to a fake Google login;

    So this is the scam. The captcha stops bots from being able to find and index the page and stops it being flagged, and they are basically just trying to steal your Google account

    Stay scam wise peeps!

  • Nash Digital Ltd – Scammers trying to hide their Scams – Post 2

    Thanks to some eagle eyed commenters of mine, It was brought to my attention that Nash Digital Ltd were trying some form of reputation management. All of a sudden website like this have appeared;

    Nash Digital Ltd Weebly Website

    Nash Digital Ltd trying to bury the bad press with fake website and fake reviews

    The first website I found was a crappy weebly website Nash Digital Ltd have made – using these free platforms helps things get ranked quicker as the parent domain is much higher authority than their own websites.

    Nash Digital Ltd Github Page

    Nash Digital Ltd using Github to spam their stuff

    Same as the above really, using things like this just makes it easier/quicker to get them indexed.

    Fake Nash Digital Ltd Website

    Fake Nash Digital Ltd Website

    I think there may have been a website on Nash Digital when I first looked into them, but I dont think it was this one. This is just some generic theme though as the contact info is obviously fake. Its just been put on there so there is *some* content and so it gets indexed. Poor effort.

    Fake Nash Digital Hosting

    Fake Nash Digital Ltd Web Hosting Website

    Another blatant template, but this one focused around hosting. I guess they didnt want to risk having their fake websites spalled for dupe content by the big G

    And there are a few other pages littered about it seems. This is textbook reputation management and is what people do when they are dodgy and are trying to hide their scams/crimes/evidence.

    Nash Digital Ltd – Are they really Scammers?

    I’m afraid to say, the evidence suggests – yes. They have repeatedly sent invoices out to people for services they havent provided, they work under a bunch of different names but all bank details point back to Nash Digital and they are trying to bury my blog and all the comments from people that have all been contacted by these scammers.

    If you get an email from Nash Digital, Securoweb, Easy Digital Solutions or any other business with the address 20-22 Wenlock Road London, N1 7GU claiming you owe them money for hosting or other services – ring your web company or person up using the exact method you have contacted them previously and ask them if its legit. When they confirm that it isn’t, drop a comment below with any info so that others can find this and not be scammed by these douchebags either.

    Stay scam wise, people.

    Read my previous post about Nash Digital Ltd and read where all this started.
